We are parents, too. We think traveling well and traveling with children shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We have limited vacation time, and we’re not spending our few days of freedom in lousy hotels eating bad food. We know the world is full of wonderful resorts, cool urban escapes and far-flung lodges that can make our time with our kids count. We want it all, and we don’t think it should be so hard to find. So we’re going to share it with you.

Direct Flights You Probably Don't Know About

Nicole Rubin

Getting on a flight can feel like time travel when everything goes to plan. While we like going to far-flung destinations, nobody likes connecting, so we've rounded up the best direct flights from NYC to some of our favorite places that aren't major hubs. Getting on a flight can feel like time travel when everything goes to plan. Paris My Way by Oasis Collections' Alexia Sako

Henley Vazquez

We’re unashamed hotel junkies here at Passported, but also love the ease of a home rental when traveling en famille. The problem for us is always navigating the scores of listings, entering into endless back and forth with individual home owners, and finding a substitute for good concierge know-how. Enter Oasis Collections. Started in South America but with new, and ever growing, markets in North America and Europe, Oasis properties are all handpicked by an all local staff and guests are paired with Guest Experience managers in advance. That means you can get the low down on the best neighborhoods to stay, where to eat, seasonal events to book, and request all the kid essentials (cribs, monitors etc.) so you don’t have to lug them from home.

To celebrate Oasis Collections' newest destination, Paris, we spoke to launch manager (and mom!), Alexia Sako to find out where she recommends for families visiting the City of Light.

Hotel We Love: Epi-Plage, St. Tropez

Henley Vazquez

St. Tropez’s reputation as a hard-partying beach resort is only half accurate. Beyond the thumping club beats and starlet-draped sunbeds remains the town’s 60s soul, when Brigitte Bardot and Mick Jagger swung this quiet village into focus. Many of the best hotels are in or near town, but for families, we love this low-key boutique resort set directly on Pampelonne Beach.
