New York, NY

We are parents, too. We think traveling well and traveling with children shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We have limited vacation time, and we’re not spending our few days of freedom in lousy hotels eating bad food. We know the world is full of wonderful resorts, cool urban escapes and far-flung lodges that can make our time with our kids count. We want it all, and we don’t think it should be so hard to find. So we’re going to share it with you.

Don't Tell Anyone About Nosara

Henley Vazquez

Nosara has occupied the "axis of cool" for a while, but now the Costa Rican surf town is eclipsing some of its more famous compatriots. More understated than the Baelerics and free of the scene-chasers in overpriced caftans that have invaded Tulum, Nosara retains all the laid-back surfer charm that put Playa Guiones on the map but with a fantastic hotel (I write loopy love letters to the Harmony in my diary), mellow eateries, a couple cool shops and more activities than I could fit into one stay. Read on to find the places not to miss on your own trip.
