We are parents, too. We think traveling well and traveling with children shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We have limited vacation time, and we’re not spending our few days of freedom in lousy hotels eating bad food. We know the world is full of wonderful resorts, cool urban escapes and far-flung lodges that can make our time with our kids count. We want it all, and we don’t think it should be so hard to find. So we’re going to share it with you.

It's been a busy summer: we've wrapped up a competition, sent some clients on an Icelandic getaway, and explored Cuba. In between all that, of course we've had some time to read. (What would a day at work be without a peruse through some of our favorite sites?) Get caught up on the stories we've been loving below!

Photo of the Week

We love @chrisryanfitness's beautiful photo of his family as he cheekily celebrated July 4th in Spain! We love a scroll through instagram as a break from work so remember to share your travels with us using the hashtag #getpassported!

We love a good hotel opening--or reopening--and hot on the heels of the Ritz Paris opening its doors again, the Hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam will reveal all its refurbishments to coincide with the hotel's 45th birthday in mid-August.

Chiara Ferragnini, a rather glamorous traveler, rounds up her picks of the best beaches in the world. Yes to all.

At Passported we've discovered that just about everyone is an adventurer at heart and these pics of Rosie from The Londoner rock jumping in Santorini makes our adrenaline rush just looking at them.

Whether you're a new parent, wise parent, or parent-to-be you're sure to appreciate this satirical take on a birth announcement from The New Yorker
