Check out these two new cool restaurants currently on our radar at home and abroad.
At home in NYC, check out the cute new cafe Tekoa in Cobble Hill from the owners of one of our favorite neighborhood (Michelin-starred) spots, La Vara. This coffee shop with homemade pastries in the morning and burgers later in the day. This casual spot is perfect for a bite to eat after walking around the neighborhood.
Abroad, take us out to Platea, an historic theater in Madrid transformed into a multi-story food hall with eats that range from Michelin-starred to grab-and-go. Don't be fooled by the modern mall you have to walk through to get there. Once instead your transported to another era. These's a Cucina Italiana and a sushi bar. We recommend the pintxos version of pigs in a blanket made with spicy chorizo.
