We are parents, too. We think traveling well and traveling with children shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We have limited vacation time, and we’re not spending our few days of freedom in lousy hotels eating bad food. We know the world is full of wonderful resorts, cool urban escapes and far-flung lodges that can make our time with our kids count. We want it all, and we don’t think it should be so hard to find. So we’re going to share it with you.

Dressing for Mother's Day

Henley Vazquez

We were beyond flattered when one of our favorite fashion brands, AYR, asked us to join their Mother's Day takeover, Role Models=Real Models. Aside from the obvious fear of photography, we loved the chance to put on some make-up, pull a comb through our hair and play dress-up with our kids. Now with the Mother's Day weekend upon us, we've mapped out the perfect places to wear these outfits. AYR, we're honored to be included, both as part of an amazing group of mamas and in crazy great style produced by a killer cool bunch of women.

Stay

Shack up at the Greenwich, Tribeca's coziest hotel (amazing spa, too)

Eat

Family brunch at Little Park's new outdoor terrace, date night dinner at Dirty French

Do

Walk the Highline, check out the new Whitney, let the kids destroy me in ping pong at the Standard

P.S. We're not just in it for the free clothes ;-) AYR's stuff travels well, so we can shove a cute top in our suitcase and look decent when we land, and the denim is as comfy and forgiving as a pair of leggings.
