We are parents, too. We think traveling well and traveling with children shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. We have limited vacation time, and we’re not spending our few days of freedom in lousy hotels eating bad food. We know the world is full of wonderful resorts, cool urban escapes and far-flung lodges that can make our time with our kids count. We want it all, and we don’t think it should be so hard to find. So we’re going to share it with you.

How to make travel planning a total trip

Henley Vazquez

In case you missed it, our new itinerary planner is live!

We’ve taken your travel planning spreadsheets, dog-eared magazine pages, and back-of-envelope-scrawled destination tips from friends and put them in one very handsome package.

With the Itinerary Planner you can compile a little black book of places you want to see, drag and drop them into a perfectly mapped out trip, collaborate with fellow travelers, share the finished product with friends, send the master plan to your hotel concierge to execute, and download the whole thing to your phone for on-the-go navigation.

Best of all, you can turn our City Guides into pre-populated itineraries or start from scratch and plot a trip anywhere in the world. Euro breaks, Caribbean beach escape, anniversary trips, ski jaunts and, yep, even a road trip to Grandma's house all welcome.

Take it for a spin and share with your kids to get them excited about your next trip. And please let us know what you think!
